April 2, 2010 | 10-46226 Stabbing At 11:01 p.m., Police responded to a report of a man being stabbed outside of a residence on Union Street in Bedford. Upon arrival, officers found a 21-year-old man had been stabbed in the stomach. The victim was transported to the hospital. The Forensic Identification Unit and members from the General Investigative Section are continuing the investigation. |

November 22, 2007 | 07-173586 - Province House Protest - At 1:30 p.m., about 350 members of various trade unions marched to Province House to protest anti-strike legislation. Various leaders spoke and the protest ended without any major incidents. No arrests were made by the Public Safety Unit. | |

February 9, 2006 | 06-16662 Arrest 8:00 p.m. HRP officers attended a residence on Union St , Halifax and arrested a 26 year old male who was wanted on a Canada Wide warrant for murder. The warrant was issued , Stoney Plains Alberta. The male who has ties to Halifax, was arrested without incident. Alberta Investigators will be coming here to take the suspect back to Alberta to answer to the charge. |

January 20, 2002 | 2927 - Two adult males face charges after the HRP Drug Unit executed a warrant at a Union Street address , Bedford. About $500 worth of marijuana was seized as well as drug paraphernalia. |
