7000 andrew street March 9, 2011 11-35194 - Break and Enter - At approximately 7:50 p.m., police responded to the 7000 block of Andrew Street in Halifax. Upon arrival, police located a 43-year-old male suffering from a wound to his head. It was learned that his home was broken into by two males. One male had a hand gun the other was carrying a hammer, the male suspect with the hammer struck the victim over the head. The suspects, then grabbed a quantity of cash and fled. The vehicle was abandoned and the supects fled on foot. The victim was taken to the QEII hospital for treatment, his injuries are not considered life threatening. Police seized the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing. The suspects were described as two males, one was a black male, 5'6" tall, 180 lbs, with some facial hair, wearing blue jeans, blue jacket and a grey sweater. The second suspect was a white male, blond hair, wearing dark coloured jeans.

andrews stret July 19, 2009 09-104690 - Indecent Act - At 7:00 p.m. police were advised that a man was masturbating in the area of the 7100 block of Andrews Stret in Halifax. The intoxicated man had approached two females, attempted to initiate conversation with them but they ignored him. The man then stuck his hands down his pants, began touching himself, then pulled his pants down completely and began to masturbate openly in front the females. As an HRP K9 officer arrived the man fled but was quickly located and arrested a short distance away. A Halifax man was charged with committing an Indecent Act and released on a Promise to Appear and Undertaking to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date.

May 7, 2008 08-66098 - Injury Accident - At 5:42 p.m. a bicycle and a vehicle were involved in an accident in the area of Chisholm and St. Andrews Avenues, Halifax. The 9-year-old male cyclist was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. There were no charges laid in this incident.

3300 st. andrews avenue July 2, 2007 07-95407 - Attempt Robbery - An attempted robbery occurred at 3:25 a.m. in the 3300 block of St. Andrews Avenue in Halifax. The suspect entered the house and demanded cash from the victim. The suspect was holding his hand as if he had a weapon. The victim told him to leave, which he did. The suspect is described as a 20-year-old man, wearing a white shirt, beige shorts, a red and white Canada jacket and a black bandana over his face.

st andrews avenue & CHISHOLM Avenue June 20, 2004 27113 Robbery, Chisholm Avenue near St Andrews Avenue - At approx' 9:45 p.m. A man was approached by two males. One male suspect punched the victim and stole his wallet containing some cash and personal identification. The victim was slightly injured with bruises and abrasions as a result of the assault. The suspects fled on foot. This matter is still under investigation.

andrew st July 21, 2001 29900- A 14 year old male is , custody after driving a stolen van into a concrete pillar , an underground aprking lot on Andrew St. The suspect fled on foot but was arrested a short diostnace from the scene.
