acadian street August 15, 2009 09-120662 - Break and Enter - At approximately 11:30 p.m. members responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in the 3600 block of Acadian Street, Halifax. The suspects entered a residence, produced a firearm and demanded money. There was a confrontation and the weapon was dropped. The suspects fled the scene and the victims called police. There were no injuries during this incident. Officers arrived and checked the area for suspects but none could be located., but a firearm was recovered at the scene. The first suspect was described as a male, approximately 6' tall, thin build, dressed all in black and wearing a mask. The second suspect was a male, 5"7" tall, heavy build, dressed in black with a mask over his face. The matter remains under investigation.

3600 acadia street June 21, 2008 08-90173 - Weapons - At approximately 1:30 p.m. an eight-year-old boy was playing in the 3600 block of Acadia Street, Halifax, when he was approached by two teenagers. One of the teenagers shot the boy in the leg with a pellet or BB gun. The boy received a minor injury that did not require hospital treatment. The only suspect description available at this time is a 15-18-year-old male. The matter remains under investigation.

acadia street April 17, 2007 07-54630 Robbery - at 5:15 p.m. a 13-year-old male was walking on Acadia Street (Halifax) when two older teens grabbed him, and took his IPOD. The youth was not injured. The suspects were described as black males between 14-16 years-old. One was about 5'8, wearing a white shirt, and had a crooked nose. The other was about 5'6, wearing a dirty beige ski jacket.

acadia street January 27, 2002 3822 - At 1:50 a.m., police were called to a home on Acadia Street , Dartmouth to deal with a distraught person. On arrival, the man held police at bay while armed with a knife. The man surrendered to police negotiators about an hour later and was taken to hospital for assessment.
